Infusion Services

Home infusion therapy allows patients to receive vital fluids and medications without the inconvenience or costs of a hospital visit. University Hospitals Home Care provides customers with more than simply the right product at the right time, we proved the training and services to ensure your loved one the highest quality care.  The advantage of home infusion therapy is the ability to recover in your own home.

The University Hospitals infusion team works closely with the physician, patient and caregiver to provide drug therapies and support to help the patients resume normal activities sooner and with fewer restrictions. Diagnoses commonly requiring infusion therapy include infections that are unresponsive to oral antibiotics, cancer and cancer-related pain, gastrointestinal diseases or disorders, congestive heart failure, immune disorders, and growth hormone deficiencies.
